MEET OUR DRUM TEACHER NICK!
With more than 13 years of playing experience, Nick Withers has a firm grasp on the music industry. Nick has been playing the Drums since the age of 9, where at 10 he placed first in Ballarat’s Royal South Street Competition, has completed to a high standard Trinity College exams, completed certificates two, three and four in Music Performance, completed VCE music to a high standard and is currently completing third year of a Bachelor of Music at Victoria University.
Nick has been and is involved with many bands and ensembles ranging from stage bands, original big bands, small ensembles, Jazz groups, Funk ensembles and more, performing at a wide range of festivals and venues.
Nick educates in a method that inspires students to learn and be passionate about the Drums and Music, students are encouraged to learn what they want to and venture into this with guidance, while maintaining the fundamentals that all musicians must learn, with both complimenting each other students are well placed for all musical settings such as performances, rehearsals, exams and more.
